I have just come across this site and have seen the Women Only Services directory. I was a battered wife refugee (so I am not using my real name). What a fantastic idea for a directory, when I was at a home we (the inmates) were frightened when any man came into the house to do work some even locked themselves in their rooms usually from fear they may be recognised and their locallity passed on to their ex (the abuser).
